Why I do what I do
As a female personal trainer in London, I'm passionate about helping women and busy professionals build real, lasting strength — not just for how they look, but so they can live a stronger, healthier, fuller life. I chose this career deliberately, because I believe that how capable you feel in your body shapes everything else in your life.
I was a competitive regional athlete from a young age in sports including athletics, netball, hockey, CrossFit, and running. After enduring injuries myself, and working alongside some of the top sports therapy professionals in South Africa, I gained a great deal of knowledge that now enables me to be a better coach.
After graduating with a BSc in Sports Science, I developed expertise across pre and postnatal training, injury rehabilitation, sports massage, weight loss, and working with athletes. Having coached sport in Switzerland and South Africa before becoming a professional PT, my wealth of experience and exposure to people at the top of their game has helped me develop as a well-rounded PT and health coach.
With over 15 years working with professionals, company wellbeing programmes, and sports people in massage and personal training, I can apply my experience to deeply understand and help others at whatever stage they are at. I now train clients across Stoke Newington, Highbury, Islington, Finsbury and South West London, and also run free community women's fitness classes.
More than 20 years later, I've helped hundreds of women and men transform their health. From mums returning to fitness after pregnancy, to athletes pushing for new records, to busy professional women seeking to lose weight and feel confident again.
My approach
I'm science-led, not trend-led. I don't chase what's fashionable - I coach what the research says works. But science has to meet a woman where she actually is: with her real schedule, her real body, and the real demands on her time and energy.
I take a whole-person view. Sleep, stress, nutrition, and movement all interact. A programme that ignores three of those won't produce lasting results with the fourth.
